Jung Haiyun

정해윤은 장지 위에 동양화 물감과 금분, 은분을 겹겹이 사용하여 유화 같은 질감을 통해 한국화의 현대적 색감을 보여주는 자신만의 독특한 화법을 가지고 있다. 작가는 인간 관계와 소통을 주제로 개개인이 갖는 역할과 의무, 그리고 그 관계 속의 집합체를 그려나간다. 작가는 작품의 주요 소재인 박새를 중심으로 실, 서랍, 파이프, 돌 등 다양한 배경을 캔버스 화면에 담는다. 열리거나 닫힌 서랍, 엉켰거나 정렬되어 있는 파이프, 돌에 가느다란 실을 물고 있는 박새를 통해 사회에서 인간들의 사이를 연결하는 관계망의 모습을 표현하였다. 개별적인 삶들이 모여 공동체를 이루듯이 개별의 소재들을 한 화면에 가득 담아냄으로써 우리의 삶에서 인간들의 관계성에 대해 고찰하며, 인간의 다채로운 삶의 모습에 대해 함께 논의하고자 한다. 정해윤은 서울대학교 동양화과를 졸업하였다. 런던 뉴데이스 갤러리(2008), 가나아트센터(2009), 갤러리현대윈도우 갤러리(2009), 베를린 아마클슐츠갤러리(2017), 쉐라톤 서울 팔레스(2020) 등에서 주요 개인전을 개최했으며, 서울, 제네바, 네덜란드, 파리, 이탈리아, 미국 등 국내외에서 열리는 다수의 기획전에 참여하였다. 미국 아트오마이, 미국 버몬트스튜디오, 파리 씨떼 국제공동체, 이태리 Ginestrlle Artist 등 레지던시 프로그램에 참여하였다. Jung Haiyoon has a unique painting technique that showcases the contemporary color palette of Korean traditional painting by layering oriental paints, gold, and silver powders on silk. She explores human relationships and communication, depicting the roles, obligations, and collective entities within those relationships. Using silk as the main material, she incorporates various backgrounds such as threads, drawers, pipes, and stones onto the canvas. Through imagery like opened or closed drawers, tangled or organized pipes, and birds holding thin threads on stones, she expresses the interconnectedness of human relationships in society. By portraying individual elements gathered together on one canvas, akin to how individual lives form a community, she reflects on human relationality in our lives and aims to discuss the diverse aspects of human life together. Haiyoon graduated from the Oriental Painting Department at Seoul National University. She has held major solo exhibitions at venues such as London's New Days Gallery (2008), Gana Art Center (2009), Gallery Hyundai Window Gallery (2009), Berlin's Amakultsch Gallery (2017), and Sheraton Seoul Palace (2020). She has also participated in numerous group exhibitions held domestically and internationally in cities like Seoul, Geneva, the Netherlands, Paris, Italy, and the United States. She has participated in residency programs such as Art Omi in the United States, Vermont Studio Center, Paris Cite Internationale des Arts, and Ginestrelle Artist Residency in Italy.
