Kim Seonjae

김선재는 ‘Over World’라는 가상의 중간계를 구축하며, 현실과 가상이 교차하는 감각적 환경을 제시한다. 합판, 레진, 에폭시 퍼티 등 인공적 재료를 기반으로 조형을 구성하고, 에어브러시를 통해 표면을 처리함으로써 디지털 이미지와 유사한 시각적 질감을 구현한다. 그의 작업은 가상의 세계를 물질로 번역하는 과정이며, 하나의 완결된 구조가 아니라 지속적으로 확장되고 재구성되는 상태로 존재한다. 김선재는 대구대학교 현대미술과 이후 홍익대학교 대학원 회화과를 졸업했다. 작가는 디아컨템포러리 (서울, 2026), 대구예술발전소 (대구, 2026), 공간해안 (인천, 2026), 021갤러리 (대구, 2025), 대구 신세계 갤러리 (대구, 2025), WWWSPACE2 (서울, 2025), 수성아트피아 (대구, 2025), 텁센트2 (서울, 2025), 동작문화재단 동작아트갤러리 (서울, 2023), 옥션제로베이스 (서울, 2023) 등 다수의 그룹전에 참여했다. Kim Seonjae’s practice unfolds around ‘Over World’, a virtual realm he constructs where the virtual and the real intersect. Conceived as an ideal space in which multiple ecosystems coexist, this world takes form through paintings and sculptural works made with plywood, epoxy putty, resin, and airbrush, materializing its environments and life forms into a tangible presence. Kim Seonjae graduated BFA in Contemporary Art at Daegu University and MFA in Painting at Hongik University.
